The application visualizes the time needed to the marked location using public transport,
combining official timetable data, transfers, and walking segments.
The map displays different zones color-coded according to the approximate travel time,
making it easy to compare the various areas.
Users can select a day of the week and a departure interval to receive a
realistic estimate based on the current schedule.
This helps you plan your journeys quickly, conveniently, and with confidence.
The departure time window represents a period (e.g. 09:00 - 10:00)
during which your trip can begin at any moment. The displayed time (e.g. 15 minutes)
indicates the duration of the trip itself from your starting point to the
marked location, not the time from the beginning of the window until arrival.
Departure can occur at any minute within the selected time window, while the calculated travel duration remains the same.
For example, if the window is 09:00 – 10:00 and the result is 15 minutes,
this means that the best calculated trip starts within that window - for instance, departing at 09:30 and arriving
at 09:45. The trip may end after the time window closes, as long as the departure occurs within it.
